Inuyasha: The Last Stand- Tease

Everyone sat drinking tea trying to seem calm but facts where facts and the fact was she might not survive but they had to seem strong for Kagoshima's well being. Deharah sat in the window while Sitco and Keko tried to relax with their head against the wall cross legged with their weapon in their lap. Yodai kept an emotionless face with his arms tucked into his sleeves . On his right was Sango and Miroku with Maya and Saya clenched to Sango's skirt and with their son in Miroku's arms and Kohaku with Shippo in his lap. On his left was Sesshomaru with Rin, Jaken, Inuyasha with a sleeping melody in his arms next to Kagome whom was next to Kagoshima.

Kagomshima grabbed the floor with every scream he heard from the infirmary  It was eating him up from inside. 'how could I be so stupid to allow' thought Kagoshima. Kagoshima clenched his fist, piercing his claws into is his hand.

Kagome looked over to her brother and grabbed his hand with hers and gave him a warm smile. " Things. Will. Be. Ok. "

Kagoshima looked at his sister and slowly a smile reached his face but it was soon wiped away as he heard another scream making his clench Kagomes hand.After several minites of silence They heard a door open and then shut and heard foot steps and there stood Meki drenched in blood with a smile on her face.

"Lady Meki is Essmee going to be ok?"

"Yes. She needs rest but you can go see her o-"

Kagoshima jumped up and ran down the hall to the room and saw a sleeping essme her long hair danced on the floor her once glowing skin was now pale her once ruby red lips where barly pink. Kagoshima dropped to his knees and stared at her sleeping body. He knew he was the reason that this happened if on he'd told her the truth.....

"Kag-kagosh-shima?"

"Yes essmes? Are you hurting?!"

"Leave me"

"Bu-But"

"Leave. Me. Now" esmee was not able to roll over so she just turned her head so refuse to look at him.

"Ye-yes"

Days passed and everyday Kagoshima brought esmee food and her medice and everday she refused to eat it . Kagoshima Walked back to the kitchen where Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango, Miroku, Shippo and Kohaku were sitting listening to Kohaku's stories While Sitco and Keko had been playing their game and Deharah...well he was leaned against the wall not doing anything at all. Kagome looked behind her at her brother he wore a long face and pale emotionless eyes.

"Hey ya bro whats kicking?" asked Kagome trying to get a smile from her once optimisic brother who now was just like a slug

"Hey sis...Nothing.."

Kagome looked on the tray it was still not touched...agean. " esmee not eat?"

"She is just not hungrey" said Kagoshima as he rubbed the back of his head neversly

" Esmee still not talking to ya hu?" asked Deharah

"DEHARAH!" When I said handle emotions carefully I mean WITH CARE"

"Its not like I said do ass whipe Esmee still not- OWWW" yelled Deharah as he was struck with the back of kagomes hand

"SENSITIVITY!!!!!" yelled Kagome

" How bout being sesitive with my head" Yelled Deharah as he rubbed the back of his head

"Yeah you never know now many more hit he can take til he loses all the functions to his brain...oh wait to late " said Keko as he moved a game peice

Deharah gave him and evil glare. But decided that he would give it to him late When he had him alone. Kagome wasn't at all conserned wit her brothers fighting i mean they always fought ALWAYS. Kagome felt bad for him she was mad that he didn't tell Esmee anything but he knew how dedicated he was to his job. But some how she knew she had to get them back together but Kagoshima was making all the effort she knew that in order to get them back together she needed to bring things into her own hands Kagoshima surely wasn't going to do it his pride took to many blows from Esmee's words.

"How bout I try" smiled Kagome

"Sure" said Kagoshima as he handed his stiter the tray and watched her take it and walk down the hall to esmees room. Kagome's heart raced at the thought of all of this but she knew this wasn't going to be easy but then again this was Esmee she never was easy, she was very hardheaded but then again she had practice with hardheadeness.

"Esmee?"

"Go away halfbreed"

"But esmee i-"

"Kagome dont you get it Get.Out"

"You need to eat"

"Im not hurngrey now go away " Esmee kept to the side waiting for kagome to leave but she had no such luck. Kagome dropped to her knees next to Esmees bed. She wanted to walk away from all of this but she couldn't not with the hole in her hest.

"You know Kagoshima has been worried about you"

"Don't care"

"UGH" Kagome had had it she slammed the tray down on the floor and jumped over and looked esmee in the eye. " your pathetic in that other room is a man that would give his life for you and your going to treat him like this over jeliousy?"

"I aint jeliouse "

"Oh please!!!!!!" you so are!!!!! Look at you you see me as this huge threat like im going to take him away yeah he loves me but hey news flash IM HIS SISTER!!!!!"

"Whatever"

"You know what fin whatever you know what once your better get out! we need someone strong not weak"

"I aint weak" yelled esmee as she shot up holding her chest careful not to open her wounds

"Yes you are the esmee i know would never give up not on anything or ANYONE Especially not Kagoshima. The Esmee I know wouldnt act this childish over something so petty"

"I aint weak!"

"Prove it!"

"Give me the soup"

Days passed as Esmee got stronger and her and Kagoshima spent most of there days lounging around trying to mend there hole that they thought they never fill. Kagome and Inuyasha had taken some much needed time together and Sango and Miroku had some much need family time. The family seemed happy until that day at breakfat Eveyone was sittig around the table eating when Deharah walked thru the door.

"Guys i got news" said Deharah he waited until Everyone was watching to break out his news.

"Roxie is back" he said as a vixen came in with long red hair and a red furry bra and a pink flowy skirt with white boots walked in.

"Roxann!" yelled Kagome and Esmee

"Hello Kagome back so soon" said Roxie with a smirk
